We bought this to put LVT flooring down We put it directly onto floor tiles and it has gone down perfectly. Very easy adhesive, roll back half of vinyl, pour onto floor from bucket, small puddle at a time, spread with A2 blade and aim for even coverage. Lay vinyl back and roll surface with small clean paint roller. Very easy to apply from A2 spreader to floor with very little waiting time from spreading to fitting. We can confirm that Mapei Ultrabond Eco VS90 Plus is suitable. The adhesive would need to be applied using an A2 V notched trowel.
If a floor has been newly level compounded does it have to be sealed with primer before laying flooring using this adhesive? Yes this would be the product that we would recommend as a replacement.
