Mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water until dissolved. Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce and boil for 1-2 minutes or until sauce has thickened. For the stir fry: Heat 1 teaspoon vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the vegetables and season with salt and pepper to taste. Can I make this with frozen brocolli? I tweak almost every recipe I use, but this one needed no tweaking. My husband and all of my big boys had seconds and thirds. I used green peppers, purple peppers, onions, zucchini and carrots and serve with brown rice. This is in his top 2 meals.
